Helaas vind ik naast hout steeds meer afval op het strand. Vooral plastic afval heeft schadelijke voor de zee en alle dieren in de zee. Daardoor geïnspireerd ben ik gaan denken hoe ik dit afval in mijn werk kan gebruiken. Met dit werk als uitkomst.
Ik hoop dat u van dit werk kan genieten en dat u ook de volgende keer bij een strandbezoek nadenkt over afval en wat u ertegen kan doen.

Op deze pagina ziet u het werk waarbij ik drijfhout combineer met plastic afval dat op het strand is gevonden. Het plastic wordt schoongemaakt en versmolten tot een nieuwe vorm en bestemming.
Besides wood it more and more happens I find garbage on the beach. Especially the plastic garbage has big consequenses for the sea and it’s inhabitants. I thought about how I can use this plastic garbage in my work. With these items as the result.

On this page I show my work which is a combination of driftwood and plastic garbage found on the beaches. The plastic is cleaned and melted in a new shape and use.
